An Associate Member (no voting privileges):

• has paid yearly dues-$10 (can be done via PayPal)

• supports MEDA’s by-laws and mission statement.  

An Active Member (voting Privileges):

1)has paid yearly dues of $10 (can be done via PayPal)

2) supports MEDA’s by-laws and mission statement; and

3) has satisfied two of the following three criteria:

A) made a significant contribution to MEDA through volunteer effort(s):

B) participated in at least three general membership meetings/year (in their geographical area or beyond) or 25% of their geographical area’s general membership meetings, whichever is greater, furthering MEDA’s mission and goals OR contributes through consistent and/or regular input in on-line discussions

C)attends at least one MEDA event per year

By-laws, mission statement, a list of past stars, and a list the officers and their contact info can be requested to be sent by snail mail or email, or given at the meetings, including at the MEDA events.

New members will be accepted at the close of any meeting and/or will be included in the on-line discussion group.

New active members will receive voting rights at the beginning of the next meeting or on-line vote presentation.

Any dancer, musician or aficionado may attend MEDA meetings as a guest on three occasions before deciding to become a member.
